Our annual Sunflower Mini Sessions are back for a limited time.
Surrounded by golden blooms and warm summer light, these short and relaxed sessions are perfect for families, maternity, milestone portraits, and little ones who would rather explore than pose.
Childhood moves quickly, and the seasons seem to pass even faster. These sessions are designed to preserve the laughter, the tiny details, and the beautiful chaos you'll want to remember for years to come.
In just 20 minutes, we'll create timeless images you'll treasure long after the flowers have faded.

1. Book your session
By clicking the button above, you'll be redirected to our booking site, where you can view available dates and select the time that works best for your family.
To officially reserve your session, a signed agreement and 50% retainer are required.
After booking, you'll receive a short questionnaire that helps us learn more about your family and prepare for your session with intention. From little personalities to special details you'd like documented, this planning process allows us to create photographs that feel natural, meaningful, and uniquely yours.
Sunflower Mini Sessions include immediate family members (up to 4 people). Additional family members may be added for $25 per person.
2. Client Guide
About two weeks before your session, you'll receive a simple preparation guide designed to help you feel confident and ready for your day.
From outfit suggestions and styling tips to a walkthrough of how the session will unfold, our goal is to make the experience feel effortless and enjoyable from start to finish. We want you to spend less time worrying about the details and more time focusing on making memories with the people you love.
3. Day of the photo shoot
Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early for your session.
Sunflower Mini Sessions are scheduled back-to-back throughout the day, which means we are unable to extend your session time if you arrive late. Any delay in arrival will unfortunately reduce the amount of shooting time available for your family.
Our goal is to document your family as you are—not to create perfectly posed moments. Please don't worry about asking your children to look at the camera, stand still, smile, or behave a certain way. In fact, the more freedom they have to explore, play, and interact naturally, the more meaningful your photographs will be.
Capturing genuine connection is our job. We'll gently guide you when needed, but we encourage you to focus on enjoying time together rather than managing every moment. Trust the process, embrace the little imperfections, and let your children be themselves—we'll take care of the rest.
4. Editing & Delivery
Your online gallery will be delivered within 14 business days after your session date.
While AI and one-click editing tools have become increasingly common, we believe your family's memories deserve a more thoughtful approach. Every image is personally reviewed, selected, and edited by hand. Rather than applying the same preset to every gallery, we carefully adjust each collection to complement the unique light, colors, and atmosphere of your session while staying true to the timeless Lavish style our clients know and love.
Once your gallery is complete, you'll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images with family and friends.
Your Sunflower Mini Session includes 10 high-resolution digital images of your choice. If you fall in love with more than 10 images (which happens often!), additional photographs, prints, and artwork can be purchased directly through the gallery store.
Upgrade to the full gallery and enjoy every hand-edited image from your session, along with a complimentary set of ten 4×6 gift prints.

What happens if the weather isn't favorable?
If the weather forecast looks unfavorable, we'll reach out approximately three days before your session. If conditions are not suitable for the sunflower field, the mini sessions may be moved to an alternate date, typically on a weekday evening. If the new date does not work for your family, you may cancel your session and receive a full refund of your retainer.
Can grandparents or other family members join the session?
Absolutely! The session price includes up to four immediate family members. If you have more than two children, there is no additional charge for your own children.
Grandparents and other extended family members are welcome to participate for an additional $25 per person.
What if my child gets sick?
We know that kids don't always follow the schedule. If your child becomes ill, please let us know at least 24 hours before your session so we can discuss rescheduling options.
Changes requested within 24 hours of the session may be considered a cancellation. However, we understand that emergencies happen, so please reach out regardless. If we have availability, we'll do our best to offer a new date as a courtesy. 🌻💛
How many images are included in the full gallery upgrade?
While every session is different, most Sunflower Mini Sessions deliver 40+ hand-edited images. The final number may vary based on the flow of the session and overall image quality.
The Full Gallery Upgrade includes all edited images from your session, allowing you to enjoy every smile, candid moment, and family connection we capture.
As a bonus, the upgrade also includes a print credit that can be used directly in our gallery store, making it the perfect way to enjoy the complete Lavish Photography experience—from your session to beautiful printed keepsakes.
Are there any perks for returning clients?
Absolutely! We love welcoming families back year after year. 💛
If you've worked with Lavish Photography before, please let us know in your questionnaire that you're a returning client and include the year and type of session (for example: Fall Family Session 2025, Newborn Session 2024, Baek-il Session 2026, etc.).
