Celebrate your baby’s first birthday with a beautifully styled Premium Dol Session at our Maryland studio. We honor the Korean dol tradition with customized fresh-flower dol tables and matching hanbok styling, creating modern and timeless first-birthday photos.
We provide everything—dol table, hanbok, florals, and a full studio setup—so your family can simply enjoy the moment. Sessions include baby portraits, family photos, and the option to add a cake smash.
Each session lasts about 1.5–2 hours, planned around your baby’s natural rhythm for a relaxed, joyful experience. Perfect for multicultural families wanting to celebrate Korean tradition in a meaningful, effortless way.
For families celebrating with a full doljanchi (Korean first birthday party), we also offer on-location event photography throughout the DMV area. Before the party begins, we typically start with portraits—baby solo photos, family portraits, and a few moments captured outdoors or inside the venue—to make sure you have beautifully posed images in addition to the candid moments from the celebration.
Many families choose to rent a dol table for the event, and there are several wonderful vendors across the DMV who offer modern and traditional dol setups. If you need recommendations for dol table rentals or venues, we’re always happy to help guide you. And if you let us know ahead of time, you can also rent a family hanbok set directly from us, which allows you to celebrate your little one’s milestone in both a traditional and modern way.
During a doljanchi, babies often begin the celebration in hanbok for the doljabi ceremony and then change into something more comfortable—such as a baby dress or a tiny suit—for the remainder of the event. When parents match with both hanbok and formalwear, the photos become even more meaningful and beautifully balanced.
Parents often put so much thought into the details: the cake, tteok (Korean rice cakes), balloons, personalized décor, and sentimental touches that make the party feel truly special. We make sure to document all of these elements—along with every family member and friend who comes to celebrate—so your child can one day see how deeply they were loved and surrounded on their very first birthday.
